About Rachel Moore
Rachel is a qualified secondary teacher with a PGCE in teaching Geography. During her time teaching during the pandemic, she saw how much more important engaging with the outdoors had become. After completing her PGCE Rachel went on to work with the North Pennines AONB on a project dedicated to improving child wellbeing through the outdoors, with a particular focus on socio-economically deprived schools.
Additionally, Rachel has a BA (Hons) Human Geography degree and an interest in helping children understand and engage with the world around them. Living in County Durham for most of her life means she has a deep understanding of the area and is excited to help everyone get more involved with exploring outdoors.
