Welcome to OASES
OASES stands for Outdoor and Sustainability Education Specialists.
We have been successfully delivering and promoting outdoor learning and global sustainability education for 30 years.
As a charity our vision is to:
‘Create a more sustainable world where all children can thrive’
Hence we seek to engage young people with the natural world, helping them to understand and appreciate the planet that supports them.
As an educational charity we also aim to:
‘Inspire, motivate and engage young people by providing them with exciting educational experiences that will lead them to be enthusiastic, creative, resilient and confident learners.’
Our hope is that your school will go from experiencing the benefits of outdoor learning to embedding it across your curriculum. To this end OASES delivers exciting sessions to Engage Pupils, training and support to Inspire Teachers (Courses, PD days, Twilights, PPA cover) as well as whole school initiatives to Enhance School curriculum provision.
Credentials and Accountability
Credentials
The OASES staff team are all highly experienced and qualified professionals. The team contains trained teachers, outdoor learning experts and sustainability education specialists. OASES also contracts the services of professionals in Global Learning and Outdoor Learning. All OASES staff are fully insured, hold enhanced DBS certificates and Outdoor and Paediatric First Aid qualifications.
Accountability
OASES is a charity established in 1994. We aim to:
- Promote, for the benefit of the public, the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment by promoting biological diversity.
- Advance the education of the public, especially children and young people, in the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment, to enable them to make choices and take actions that create a more sustainable world where all can thrive.
- Promote and encourage engagement with outdoor and sustainable activities which support peoples’ wellbeing, especially for children and young adults.
