About Amy Mycock

Amy has over 15 years’ experience of working in the food sector, from agriculture and school food growing, to catering, food retail and surplus food redistribution.

In 2009, she was awarded a studentship to carry out an MA by Research at Durham University in which she collaborated with local food businesses and food activists to build resilience into County Durham’s food system.

Amy is co-ordinator of Food Durham, County Durham’s Food Partnership: a cross-sector, multi-stakeholder collective of individuals and organisations interested in co-creating a healthier, greener, fairer food system.
