About Beth Davidson

Beth’s background as an Aquarist allows her to educate children and young people about the environment, plastics, marine life, and ecology. As part of her Aquarist role, she also rehabilitated injured and ill seal pups back to good health! In 2023 she joined the National Field Monitoring Team at the Environment Agency where she supported the collection of data relating to bathing waters, ecology, water quality, seagrass, and groundwater. Beth is particularly interested in freshwater fish species and specialised in electric fishing surveys. Completing over six hundred electric fishing surveys around the North East of England! Beth is looking to share her passion for the environment and to inspire the next generation to create a more sustainable future.
