Outdoor Education with Durham Trinity KS4 Students
For the 2022-23 school year, Durham Trinity School hired OASES to design and deliver weekly outdoor education experiences for a group of their Key Stage 4 pupils. Utilising the woodlands and natural areas of Elemore Hall (add hyperlink to webpage about this site), Ushaw College (add hyperlink) and the school’s own grounds, the group engaged in a bespoke sequence of forest school, forest bathing, and nature study sessions organised to allow the youth participants to gain comfort and familiarity with natural settings to support their developmental and mental health goals. OASES has forest schools and forest bathing trained staff members who can help your school to embed nature into the curriculum.
