Nurdle Clean Up: Save Our Beaches

On 19 July, 25 tonnes of plastic nurdles were spilled into the River Tyne. Since then, these small plastic pellets have been washing up on beaches across the North East, threatening marine wildlife and coastal habitats.

Join OASES on a hands-on conservation visit where pupils can help remove nurdles from local beaches while learning about plastic pollution and its impact on marine ecosystems.

This engaging environmental action session gives young people the opportunity to contribute to a real conservation effort while developing an understanding of sustainability, pollution, and environmental responsibility.

‘OASES is a Registered Charity (no. 1041301). During the course of this contract’s delivery, we will have a legitimate interest in collecting and storing your personal data within the OASES office and on our cloud-based IT system. Upon the project’s cessation will only hold onto your data if there is a legal obligation to do so. We will not give your data to anyone other than Forestry England. If you do not feel that we have handled your data appropriately you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioners Office.’ A full refund will be given for cancellations made up to a month of the start date (minus an admin fee). Cancellations made up to 7 days before will receive a 50% refund. Within 7 days of the start date the fee is non-refundable.
