Stone Age Day

Explore life in the Stone Age and discover how early humans lived, made tools and used natural materials to survive in a world very different from our own.

Engage students in the history curriculum through hands-on activities. Pupils will have the opportunity to experience traditional skills, including flint knapping and creating sparks using flint and steel. They will discover how Stone Age people used their knowledge of materials and the natural environment to make tools and create fire.

This engaging outdoor history session brings the Stone Age to life through practical experiences, encouraging pupils to investigate the past, develop new skills and consider how people adapted to their environment.

‘OASES is a Registered Charity (no. 1041301). During the course of this contract’s delivery, we will have a legitimate interest in collecting and storing your personal data within the OASES office and on our cloud-based IT system. Upon the project’s cessation will only hold onto your data if there is a legal obligation to do so. We will not give your data to anyone other than Forestry England. If you do not feel that we have handled your data appropriately you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioners Office.’ A full refund will be given for cancellations made up to a month of the start date (minus an admin fee). Cancellations made up to 7 days before will receive a 50% refund. Within 7 days of the start date the fee is non-refundable.
