Growing Healthy

Following the success of the pilot project, funding from Public Health is now enabling the Growing Healthy Project to be rolled out across County Durham!

Through Growing Healthy, OASES will support 20 schools for a full school year to create, use and maintain a school growing space. This will provide opportunities for children to learn about healthy food, be physically active and enjoy being outdoors.

Ten schools took part in the project in 2015-16.
