This NOCN Level 1 accredited Forest Bathing course will give you an introduction to the Japanese approach of Shinrin Yoku. You will discover what Forest Bathing is and what it is like to experience Forest Bathing.

This is an approved use of Schools’ PE and Sports Premium

Forest Bathing uses sensory experiences in the natural environment to encourage relaxation, wellbeing and promote mental health. The learner bathes in the calming atmosphere of the trees and plants- no water required!

This ground breaking training uses the Japanese approach and adapts it to suit your own group.

These courses are appropriate for those working with children or adults; such as teachers, teaching assistants, EYFS practitioners, health workers, environmental and recreation staff interested in the Forest Bathing approach. You must be 18 years or over to complete the course.

What does it involve?

  • 2 days of training
  • You will complete a workbook during the course.
  • You will try out a wide range of inspirational activities.
  • You will gain knowledge of woodland health and safety and the woodland environment.

2 Day Course

Timings: Full days are 10am-3pm
Venue: Esh Winning Primary School, Emerald Room
