This fantastic workshop informs the young people about wind power and wind turbine design. The young people are then challenged to build their own wind turbine, using the supplied kit. They will then be asked to adjust their design, to maximise the wind turbines performance under different scenarios. Run as an inter-country competition, this is a brilliant tool for engaging upper KS2 and KS3/4 pupils with sustainable energy and getting them to apply their STEM knowledge.Â
